As of writing this review, it costs ¥1,700 a month. There is a “free trial” version. But no free version. I’m installing this app bc I’m broke. I and many other potential users can’t afford ¥1,700 a month. I’d rather use a different app even if it’s worse. Or just make an excel spreadsheet.

As a paid premium app, the amount of spending data available is very sad. Please introduce more data views so we can compare spending between months across categories. Also something as basic as showing my income each month… There are literally third party apps trying to take advantage of this gap.

This app has worked well for me for some years now. It really helps me manage my finances en let’s me think of where I put my money to good use. What would make it complete is the ability to manage payees in the app. Just like on the web.

It would be great to add multiple currencies. Cause for example I have main accounts in PLN, but save account in USD. And it would be very suitable for example to witter down USD and see equivalent in PLN or system could automatically count it in main currency (for example PLN).

YNAB is mostly great as a budgeting tool. This latest update though broke a lot of buttons in the app. Tapping on ready to assign does nothing. Same with some other buttons. Please fix the app. iPhone 13 mini.

Hangs on entering the first transaction everytime you open the app. Have to keep closing and restarting the app each time. Very annoying

I have been using YNAB for 5+yrs and I can’t imagine not having it! I’ve started my friends and family on it and they’re hooked too. It’s helped me manage, plan, save, and keep my head above water during stressful times. Highly recommend to everyone no matter where you are in your journey!

YNAB has put me in control of my finances. Even if I don’t technically use it to stay on budget, it is essential to know where my money is going. And it’s extremely satisfying to get 30+ days ahead of my expenses.
