Things 3 Reviews: What Users Really Think

I set reminders with a specific time and they don’t hold over! Extremely disruptive!!!

I’ve had the app almost three weeks and it’s ok but I’m not impressed. It’s not at all intuitive to use, particularly if you use repeating tasks. Getting started with the system is a frustrating experience and given the functionality or lack of it, not worth the hassle. The different options to …

Absolute scam having to buy this from all of your devices. Do not waste your money

I downloaded on my phone and to use the iPad app I need to pay an extra $25 and another $70. I was stoked on it and now regret my choice. Feel like I would have like of known this upfront I’m stuck on one platform

Über die Jahre bin ich ja einiges gewöht, aber die Benutzerführung von Things 3 > Hammer! Ja, hammerschlecht - ohne System - ohne Logik. Wie kommt es nur zu den vielen positiven Bewertungen!

I’ve been a long-time user of Things and really appreciate the clarity and design of the app. It’s a great middle ground between a simple reminders app and a gtd system. One small but meaningful improvement I’d love to see is the ability for recurring tasks to automatically reappear in the “This E…

I've hesitated on this app for years because of the price and because most todo apps just do not work at all for me with my adhd. However, this app is incredible! The user interface is so so nice, and it has the perfect balance having just enough features while still being really simple to use with …

I’ve really enjoyed using Things 3 as my main task and reminder app. The interface is clean, simple, and very well designed, and I especially like how easy it is to organize tasks into areas, projects, and headings. It works really well for managing school homework, routines, packing lists, and othe…

Thank you for this app—it’s really handy. I have one suggestion: sometimes I have multiple to-dos that belong together, but they don’t necessarily warrant creating a full project yet. It would be great if there were a way to group related to-dos by simply dragging one to-do underneath another, with…

Things is beautifully designed and still one of the best task managers on iOS. But it badly needs better x-callback-url automation. A simple action to copy text to the clipboard and then continue with x-success would make a huge difference for real workflows. Competitors like OmniFocus, 2Do, and Goo…

I’ve had Things 3 on my phone/laptop for two years now and I absolutely love it. It’s super easy and intuitive to use, no other to do list app has worked for my ADHD like this. I can keep my consistent routines in check as well as breaking down little tasks and major detailed multi step projects in …

Très bonne application que j ai depuis plusieurs années et qui fonctionnait très bien jusqu a la dernière maj ou l application ne s ouvre plus c est dommage je mettrais mes 5 étoiles lorsque le problème sera résolu.

Searching for anything but a single word doesn’t find it, but more importantly, it doesn’t highlight it in the title or in the notes. So if you have long notes, good luck finding your search term! Can’t search for part of a word or even two words. For example: if the todo is named “Exercise: walk, …

I've tried many task manager apps over the years and never found one that felt like a fit. I admire Todoist for its many powerful features and have made several runs at trying make it work. After spending over a month with Things 3, I've finally found the task manager that works. It has plenty of po…

This app is literally perfect. The best task management app I’ve used by far. No subscription, no AI, no BS.
